I’m thrilled to announce that deVere Group is soon to be launching in Australia, following ongoing demand for specialist financial advice from clients in this part of the world.

We are opening our first Australian office in November, as phase one of deVere Group’s extensive plans ‘down under’. The number of expatriates and international investors here requiring independent financial advice is, we have noted, increasing all the time, and with the number of British expatriates alone living in Australia estimated to be 1.3 million, I’m confident that this could well be deVere Group’s largest market in the future.Our aim therefore is for deVere Australia to become the biggest independent financial advisory organisation in the country within a few years.

The primary office will be located in Melbourne, and we will then seek to open additional offices in major cities such as Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

The Australia launch is a milestone in deVere Group’s ongoing international growth and development, and highlights the organisation’s dedication to providing wide-ranging financial advisory services to our clients wherever they decide to call ‘home’ in the world.

The move into Australia was facilitated by deVere Group’s acquisition of fully-licensed firm, Meridian Financial Pty Limited, which has an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL 243320).

Meridian’s clients will still receive the highest quality advice and expertise, but can now also benefit from deVere Group’s extensive range of market-exclusive products and services from leading financial institutions, state of the art technology and platforms, as well as a first rate support infrastructure.

I am incredibly excited about the launch of deVere Australia, and I look forward to the next chapter of deVere Group’s unrivalled success story.
