Alex Flynn completes Trans America Challenge – 3,500 miles across the US in 35 days!
We are absolutely thrilled for Alex for conquering this mammoth challenge which is part of his personal fight back against Parkinson’s disease – the cruel disease that affects millions of sufferers around the world.
What Alex Flynn achieved – to run, cycle and row across the United States in just 35 days – is testament to his indomitable character.
I had the pleasure of meeting Alex last year and I can tell you that he is a man on a mission, rarely have I seen a man more focused. A Lawyer who turned himself into a fundraiser to raise £1 million for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust by running, walking, swimming and cycling 10 million metres in just 3 years. We are delighted that deVere has been able to support in raising money for the Parkinson cause.
In his own words, Alex Flynn said that the Trans America Challenge was the toughest and most grueling feat yet. He also said that he hopes to inspire others to believe that they can achieve anything and overcome any obstacle in life.
