deVere Group supports Alex Flynn’s Athens marathon

Our branch in Athens is gearing up its efforts to support Alex Flynn in the Athens Marathon this Sunday – as part of his feat to run 10 million meters in 3 years to raise funds for a cure for Parkinson’s disease.
Incredibly, Alex Flynn is a sufferer of Parkinson’s disease himself who took on an epic mission in 2011 to run, row, cycle or swim 10 million meters around the globe in 3 years to raise £1 million for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust.
We will be behind Alex on yet another challenge as part of his personal fight against the cruel disease that affects millions around the world. Indeed, Alex’s incredible achievement so far is testament to his indomitable character.
Over the course of the next 2 years, Alex will be continuing his 10 Million Metre mission: metre by metre, step by step. I also plan to run with Alex at the Paris half marathon this March!!
