It gives me great pleasure to announce the significant appointment of Tom Elliott, who joins us from JP Morgan, as International Investment Strategist.

As you know, deVere Group’s success is built on us being one step ahead of the competition and the financial markets within which we operate. Tom’s appointment will add significantly to our ability to stay in front and provide our clients with the holistic financial information that’ll see their medium to long term investments flourish through us.

Based primarily in London, Tom’s remit is to support our advisors worldwide with incisive, informative and practical political and economic analysis of topical and financial trends that could effect long term investments – a role for which, through over 20 years of experience working in capital markets, he is supremely qualified.

Beginning his career at Greig Middleton stockbrokers, London, Tom moved to Fleming Asset Management in 1995 to be head of investment writing. That firm was absorbed into JP Morgan Asset Management in 2000, within which he assumed several investment strategy roles including, from 2006, head of the UK Guide to the Markets team which focused on high level investor communication.

We selected Tom for this newly created deVere role for many reasons, not least his informed, highly regarded and engaging approach to financial strategy and in-depth knowledge of financial markets.

In return, Tom is equally delighted to be joining us here at deVere Group.  He recently said:  “I’m thrilled to be part of what is one of the world’s leading independent financial consultancies; a global company with a revered client-centric ethos. My new role will enable me to shape the investment advice and opportunities available to deVere clients both existing and new. It’s an exciting role and one that I’m very much looking forward to.”
