16 corporate execs fight it out in the ring for charity at Tokyo’s Executive Fight Night

30 May

The fifth Tony Evans & deVere Executive Fight Night is taking place in Tokyo’s luxurious Grand Hyatt Hotel Ballroom, on 19 June, with 16 determined corporate amateur fighters ready to do battle in the ring.
Held in association with Ginja Ninja Promotions and sponsored by deVere Group, previous Las Vegas-style Executive Fight Nights in the Japanese capital have been a phenomenal success, and next month’s event looks set to be the most fiercely-contested to date.

Fourteen male and two female competitors have put themselves forward for the gruelling 12-week professional boxing training course to prepare for the big night, when they’ll undergo three rounds in the ring.

The deVere-sponsored Executive Fight Nights have raised more than 23 million Yen for charity, and this year, all monies raised on the night will be going to Shine On! Kids, which provides much-needed help and support to children in Japan suffering with cancer and other serious illness, as well as their families.

Area Manager of deVere Group in Tokyo, Tony Evans affirms the Executive Fight Night is now a must-attend, event on the social calendar: “The event brings together expatriates at the top of their game for a good cause, and the deVere Group, which is at the heart of the expat community and is committed to helping those less fortunate in the regions in which it operates, helps ensure that its 80,000 expatriate clients remain in the peak of financial fitness by creating, maximising and protecting their wealth.”

The atmosphere at the fifth Executive Fight Night next month, as with the four previous events, will be absolutely electrifying from start to finish.  Eddie Nixon from Ginja Ninjas says of the event:  “Executive Fight Night V is already shaping up to be our biggest and best EFN to date and with new innovative ideas to drive entertainment and fund-raising levels on the night we are very excited can’t wait for the fighters to jump into the ring and help us fight for such an amazing cause.”

The Tony Evans & deVere Group Executive Fight Night V starts with a welcome reception at 6:30pm, with the live action in the ring getting underway at 7:30pm.  World-class chef will be preparing dinner and a raffle and silent auction will be taking place in aid of the Shine On! Kids charity.

Good luck to everyone taking part!
