London Stock Exchange interview – ‘Best International Advisory Company – East Asia’ award
We’re approaching the end of the year – and it’s always a busy time. And 2015 is no exception.
As we gear up for the biggest night on the deVere calendar, the always high-octane Christmas Awards at the Great Ballroom at London’s Grosvenor House, I have also today been at the London Stock Exchange for an interview with International Finance Magazine.
The interview focused around deVere Group winning the magazine’s ‘Best International Advisory Company – East Asia’ award.
This prestigious award – one of SEVEN in 2015 – recognises and celebrates our organisation’s ongoing success in China, Japan and Hong Kong and the hard work, energy and commitment of our teams across the region.
The interviewer, James Hansler, congratulated deVere and its subsidiaries in East Asia before asking about our operations in this part of the world, why it is such an important region for us, about the current challenges and opportunities for financial services, and about our plans for 2016 and beyond.
We went on to discuss the wider plans and visions for deVere around the world. I (only half) joked that we were seeking ‘world domination’! But as the world becomes ever-more globalised, as more and more people become globally-mobile and globally-minded, and as the world’s leading cross-border financial specialist, I’m confident we will take further steps in 2016 towards making this a reality.
